Fruitwood Blend: 100% hardwood blend of detritivores favourite fruitwoods, consisting of apple, cherry, and maple. Fruitwood is slightly softer, and easier to digest for some invertebrate species making it ideal for use with Isopods, millipedes, roaches, and some species of beetles. This blend can be used on its own, or mixed with the hardwood blend or other dietary substrates to achieve your ideal mix. Although designed for fruitwood loving inverts, this blend is safe for all detritivores.

Hardwood Blend: This 100% hardwood blend of flake soil is perfectly geared towards rearing beetles.  Consisting of a mix of oak, hickory, and maple, this blend is sure to meet the dietary needs of hardwood loving beetles such as the popular stag beetles kept as pets. This blend can be used on its own, or mixed with the fruitwood blend or other dietary substrates to achieve your ideal mix. Although designed for beetles, this blend is safe for all detritivores.
