Eresus walckenaeri “Orange Ring” (Velvet Spider)

One of the largest species of velvet spider! Females are black with an orange ring around their abdomen, and males have a nice black and red colouration. This species requires an arid setup with loose dry substrate such as cococoir and things like sphagnum moss, cork bark, fake plants, etc for anchor points and building their nests.
