Phrynus barbadensis (Whip Spider)

Whip spiders are a great, harmless species of  arachnid perfect for keepers with all experience levels! These animals require a vertical enclosure with cork bark, or similar lining the walls and forming crevices to give them areas to climb and hide in, as well as proper places to molt. Coco coir substrate is perfect as it can be kept very damp giving them the high humidity they require.
